The network

Routes

One rack, three services. Every train starts or ends at Falzgrund, the valley terminal, because that is where the depot, the dispatcher, and the post office are. Beyond Treeline the line is single track with one crossing loop, which is why the timetable is a promise rather than a suggestion.

1

Panorama Line

The full climb: valley floor to summit saddle in 42 minutes, through three galleries and the high meadow.

Falzgrund → Sattelhorn · Daily, year round

2

Treeline Shuttle

The commuter's flywheel: nine cars a day serving the sawmill road, the school, and the trailheads.

Falzgrund → Treeline · Daily, year round

9

Night Owl

A lantern-lit late run for the observatory staff, night hikers, and anyone who wants the valley dark.

Falzgrund → Sattelhorn · Fridays and Saturdays

What the colours mean

On time Note Special — the same chips run on every board, page, and timetable we print.
